So far in this world cup we have had two good games, up until last night it was one. The one game we have seen goals in is the Germany game in which they smashed 4 past Australia.

Most of the players are blaming the football. As with every world cup, we have a world cup football, this year it’s called the Jabulani.

Its almost tradition for all the teams in the world cup to complain about the football they are using, it happens at every tournament. This year however, there is one team that isn’t complaining. The Germans. The Germans have been using the Jabulani in the Bundesliga since February! That means they have been playing with the football for 4 months. England claim that they only had access to the football 15 days before the tournament.

Adidas have said in a statement that they sent the FA 30 of the new footballs to Wembley back in February as it sent all nations 30 footballs. Some of the teams in the Bundesliga used it in games since February and these teams have sponsorship deals with Adidas. In Germany the league doesn’t have an official ball so all teams play with a different ball.

A few days have passed now, we are coming towards the end of the first round of games. Its time to get back behind the lads like we did before the first game, We haven’t lost anything yet and don’t forget, We didn’t win our first game in 66!! Its time for a bit of Cabanga!

So we have seen the real highlights, were still a little sore about the result and what happened, but were English, it never to soon to take the piss!!

Nike have a history of creating really good football adverts, this one is no exception, The only thing missing is Cantona!

The referee that was in charge when Terry Henry handled the ball to give France the opportunity to score and progress to the world cup has been chosen to officiate in this summers World Cup Finals.

France were playing The Republic Of Ireland last November (i think) when the game went into extra time. In one French attack, the ball was heading out when Terry Henry kept it in with his hand and passed it to Gallas who went on and scored knocking out Republic of Ireland and meaning France went through to be in South Africa this summer.

That was the day respect for the French man dropped, before this game Henry was held in the highest regard by everyone who loves football, it was hard to pick fault with anything he did. However, blatantly cheating did no favours to his reputation, he will now always be remembered for cheating France to the World Cup finals.

The referee that game was Martin Hansson from Sweden who has now been picked as one of the World Cup refs. He has taken a lot of stick after that game for letting the goal stand. He certainly wont be welcome in Ireland for a long time! In his defence however, he can only punish what he See’s, his position for the incident meant his vision was blocked. If he had given the handball then he would have been refereeing of reaction from the opposing players which he cant do.

In this situation he needed to rely  more on his assistants which also failed to spot the hand ball. If however there were goal line assistants present like in the Europa Cup this year then  the goal would never have stood, Henry would have been red carded and France may not be playing this summer.

We have just seen the end of the domestic league in England and its fairly traditional for a few pitch invasions on the whistle on the last day, There is nothing malicious meant by it, its just a bit of last day Banter.

You know what its like when one person does it, so does everyone else, Im not sure who started this but the guy in a wheelchair had a sodding good crack at it!!!

I thought i would make my first video, a video of a crowd of England Fans singing in Stuttgart Germany. Ive been to the square were this was recorded and its very nice indeed.
