Steve Rider has worked for ITV for 33 years, he has been the face of the champions league, their FA cup coverage, the coverage of internationals, past tournaments, my god HE’S PART OF THE FURNITURE!!!

Today ITV announced they had parted in an amicable manor as Rider quits the ITV. Rider as with the rest of the country expected to be the rock of ITV coverage but then ITV employed Adrian Chiles.

After spitting his dummy out and stamping his feet over loosing one day on the One Show, Chiles walked out on the BBC with his bottom lip out, Now he has pushed Rider out of the top spot. Shame on Chiles i say. Rider is 60 so he may not of continued for much longer but this may have been the last opportunity for him to lead the way in a world cup.

I don’t mind Chiles but its a case of the pot calling the kettle black. He didn’t like his position being muscled in on at the BBC yet it is exactly what he has done at ITV.
